Our History
Blue Mountains Funerals is owned and managed by Leonie and Michael Carrick. They proudly continue the excellent tradition of outstanding service created by Don Tilden during his 30 years as a Funeral Director in the Blue Mountains’ communities.
Michael and Leonie are proud parents of four children and both come from large families. They appreciate the importance of funerals as part of a family’s history.
Our Staff
Our quality and carefully selected staff treat every person as a unique individual and provide personalised service with compassion and excellence.
As the name suggests, Blue Mountains Funerals is proud to be a part of the local community. All of our staff live and raise their families in the Blue Mountains
and are active members of their local community.
Blue Mountains Ladies Funerals 
We also offer an all-female team for those families who may prefer to have women looking after all aspects of the funeral.
From the initial arrangements, to mortuary care, assistance with
viewings and finally, having all female staff on the day of the funeral.

Leonie and Michael also own and manage Wood Coffill Funerals. Dating back to 1916, Wood Coffill Funerals is the longest established funeral home in the Blue Mountains. At Wood Coffill we pride ourselves on providing funerals of dignity
at a very reasonable cost.

 Because we understand that your time is precious, Blue Mountains Funerals offers clients the convenience of well appointed offices in both Springwood and Leura where families can make all of their funeral arrangements at the one time, in the one place, in a warm and comforting environment.
Of course we understand that some clients may feel more at ease making funeral arrangements in the familiar surrounds of their own home. For this reason we are happy to come to you at any time that is convenient.

Blue Mountains Funerals distinctive and distinguished fleet of burgundy coloured vehicles are a symbol of the high quality we provide to all our families.
